Stop Market price comparison
Stop Market branches do not all sit in the same competitive position. A store next to a large discounter may well be priced differently from one with no competitor nearby, and that is a difference the chain name cannot tell you about. Checking by branch is the only way to see it instead of assuming it.
Where the chain came from
The chain was founded by Yossi Mishach and is built on large shops of some 2,500 square metres with an emphasis on premium lines, open seven days a week. In October 2026 its purchase by Shuk HaRetzl, of the Dudu Azra group, was reported at a valuation of about 680 million shekels; the Competition Commissioner approved the deal on 11 October, and the two chains are to keep trading separately.
How the prices reach us
This chain publishes its branch prices on a shared price-publication site, where most of the publications we read also sit. The price shown is the last one we have read for the branch you picked.

What you can do in the app
- Scan a barcode in the aisle and see the price here and at other chains.
- Pick the branch you are in, and your list shows its prices beside each item.
- Keep a shared list with the family — it carries on working with no signal, and syncs when it returns.

Common questions
Are prices the same across all the chain's branches?
Not necessarily. Each branch publishes a separate price list, which is why the app asks you to choose a branch.
What is the difference between the regular price and a promotion?
The price list includes the promotions the chain publishes. One that was not published will not appear, and at the till the price in the shop is what counts.
