Shufersal price comparison
Shufersal runs several kinds of store — Deal, Sheli, Express and Yesh — and they are not all priced the same. That is why a comparison at chain level misleads: the price that matters is the one at the branch you are standing in. Kniham reads the price list the chain publishes for each branch separately, so you can choose your own store and see its prices next to the items on your list.
Where the chain came from
Shufersal was incorporated in 1957 and was the first in Israel to apply the American chain-retail model. Its shares have traded in Tel Aviv since 1980, and as of 2026 it is the country's largest retailer: 436 branches and more than 14,500 staff, with its head office in Rishon LeZion.
How the prices reach us
This chain publishes on its own site rather than through a shared service, so it has an address and a reader of its own at our end. Here too, what you see is the last price we read, branch by branch.

What you can do in the app
- Scan a barcode in the aisle and see the price here and at other chains.
- Pick the branch you are in, and your list shows its prices beside each item.
- Keep a shared list with the family — it carries on working with no signal, and syncs when it returns.

Common questions
Is a Deal branch priced the same as a Sheli branch?
Not necessarily. Shufersal publishes a separate price list per branch, and the different kinds of store are not priced identically. In the app you choose a specific branch, not a chain.
Do the prices include club member discounts?
No. We show the price published for the branch. Personal club discounts do not appear in the public file, so we cannot show them.
Does this include BE branches?
Yes. Shufersal's publication covers the BE chain as well, so those branches' prices are read from the same place.
