Polizer price comparison
Prices move, and what was true at Polizer Hadera two months ago need not be true today. Memory is confident and unreliable in equal measure: it keeps the figure and loses the date. So it is better to check in real time, inside the shop, than to shop from what you remember of a previous trip.
Where the chain came from
This is a family business from Hadera. The grandfather, Anshel Politzer, opened a grocery in Or Akiva in the 1950s; his son Haim opened a small shop on leaving the army, and in 1982 it became a supermarket in Hadera — the year still in the registered company name. The chain works inside towns, close to its customers, and has chosen not to grow into a large network.
How the prices reach us
This chain publishes its branch prices on a shared price-publication site, where most of the publications we read also sit. The price shown is the last one we have read for the branch you picked.

What you can do in the app
- Prices are published branch by branch, so two branches of one chain need not charge the same.
- Scan in the aisle and see what the branch you are standing in charges.
- The list keeps working where the shop has no signal, and syncs when it returns.

Common questions
How far back are the prices valid?
We show the branch's most recent publication. An older price is never presented as though it were current.
Do I need an internet connection to see prices?
To fetch a new one, yes. Prices already downloaded for the branch you picked are shown without a connection, and the list itself always works.
