Keshet Teamim price comparison

קשת טעמים בע"מ · publishes on a shared price-publication site

Keshet Teamim carries a mehadrin-certified range, and for a shopper who keeps to that, the comparison that matters is among the shops which meet the requirement. Kniham does not rank kashrut and does not recommend. What it does is let you choose the branches you care about yourself, and compare exactly the same product across them, by barcode.

Where the chain came from

Keshet Te'amim has traded since 2002 from offices in the southern industrial zone of Acre, and sells non-kosher food as well; most of its branches open every day of the week except Yom Kippur. As of 2024 it has 26 branches, making it Israel's second-largest non-kosher chain after Tiv Taam. By its own account, its online side runs on two robotic fulfilment centres built for the purpose.

How the prices reach us

This chain publishes its branch prices on a shared price-publication site, where most of the publications we read also sit. The price shown is the last one we have read for the branch you picked.

What you can do in the app

  • A large household buys in quantity, and a big pack is only cheaper if it is cheaper per kilo. Scan it and find out.
  • On bread, milk and eggs you will find no gap between chains, because their price is controlled — which is exactly what makes the rest of the basket worth checking.
  • One shared list stops the same item being bought twice.

Common questions

Does the app filter by kashrut?

No. We compare prices and do not classify kashrut. Which shops to compare stays your choice.

Can I compare only between a few shops I picked?

Yes. You can work against the shop you are in and see its prices beside the items on your list.
