Purchase history
Household shopping repeats itself. The same handful of items makes up most of the bill, week after week. That is what makes a history useful: not for looking back, but so you never have to write the same list twice.
What is kept
What was on the list, what was marked as bought, and when. On a shared list, also who marked it.
What to do with it
- Build the next list from what keeps coming back, instead of from a blank page.
- See what you actually buy. The difference between what we think we buy and what we really bought can be a surprise.
- Spot the items that drive the bill. Those are the ones worth comparing prices on.
The easiest way
Rather than a new list for every trip, keep one standing list that resets after each round. What was bought is marked and drops off, and the list keeps its shape for next week. The order you are used to, by dish, by the route through the shop, whatever suits you, stays put instead of being rebuilt every time.

Common questions
Who sees my history?
You do. People on a shared list see that list's history. Nobody else.
Can I delete all of it?
Yes. The account deletion page on this site removes the account and everything kept with it.
