What we keep, and what we do not
This page explains briefly what happens to your data. The full and binding text is in the privacy policy.
What is stored
- Account details — name and email address from signing in with Google. There is no password to store, because there is no password.
- Your lists — items, quantities, what was ticked, and who the list is shared with.
- Barcodes you scanned — the number itself, to show prices and to learn which products are missing from the catalogue.
- Technical data — app version, device type, language and error logs.
What is not stored
Images. The camera works on the device: barcode recognition is local, and the picture does not leave the phone. The one exception is a report you choose to send about a wrong recognition, where you see exactly what is being sent and confirm it.
Who the data is shared with
Whoever you share a list with, and nobody else. We do not sell personal data. The service providers we rely on — hosting, email delivery, spam prevention and website analytics — are named in the privacy policy.
Deletion
Delete your account through the account deletion page or by writing to support@kniham.com. We handle the request within 30 days and send a confirmation.
Are camera images sent to you?
No. Barcode recognition happens on the device. An image is sent only if you explicitly choose to report a wrong recognition and confirm the upload.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, through the account deletion page. The request is handled within 30 days and we confirm by email.
